Rebecca Spour is a seasoned dynamic Canadian business and technology leader. She has worked internationally and has over a decade of experience in strategy, financial services, start ups, media, emerging technology and investor relations. Formerly with large firms such as London Life and Investors Group prior to starting her own companies; Rebecca has vetted hundreds of companies in the last several years and assisted in raising in excess $40 million dollars. Her passion for assisting entrepreneurs and executives stems from assisting family operate Canada’s largest carbide cutting tool manufacturer.
She has spoken on the global outlook of digital assets at the Fintech Association of Canada and DCN Global . She is a board member of the Cybersecurity Global Alliance, a non profit think tank, and a mental health foundation called Ideal me in Canada. Rebecca serves as a board advisor and advisor to numerous other organizations in technology and real estate. She is also co-founder of several Canadian companies that research and develop emerging technology. Based out of Ontario and Texas, her writing has been featured in the CAIA, Canadian National News and other bay street lifestyle publications. She also enjoys writing on a diverse set of venture capital topics such as artificial intelligence, fintech and DAOs. Rebecca is working towards getting licensed under FINRA
When she’s not working, she is a musician enjoying quality time cooking or volunteering with various charity fundraising initiatives in Canada.
