Glenn Rogers, B.Comm., CFA is a business professional and Chartered Financial Analyst who combines big-picture strategic thinking with close attention to detail, honed across financial planning, commercial analysis, and risk management roles in dynamic, fast-paced industries. He was recognized as one of the top five analytical minds at Enbridge, one of Canada's largest companies, for his work on financial modeling used in internal planning, evaluations, and external credit rating agency and investor presentations.
Since 2001, Glenn has served as President of JOGR Holdings Inc., a private property and securities investment holding company. He oversees a fine furniture store in Kelowna and manages a portfolio of investment properties. He also worked with an executive team to build financial models and a Private Placement Memorandum that secured initial G&A cost funding for a start-up midstream company. Since 2020, he has also served as a Senior Associate at Ian Murray and Company, where he evaluated an international refinery project in Bangladesh and advised a client participating in the Enbridge Canadian midstream divestiture.
From 2007 to 2016, Glenn held a series of progressively senior roles at Enbridge Inc. As Manager of JV Asset Management, he managed Enbridge's interest in the Aux Sable/Alliance NGL business, sat on the Gas Sales and Trading subcommittee of the Risk Committee, oversaw the re-contracting of Alliance and NGL supply procurement at Aux Sable, and renegotiated a 20-year gas supply contract that increased profitability by approximately $1 million in its first year. He also served as Manager of Business Development for B.C. LNG, Manager of Financial Analysis for Gas Transportation, and Manager of Investment Review, and spent five years as Senior Advisor, Investment Review, where he developed and reviewed spreadsheet evaluations of large-scale infrastructure investments, mergers, divestitures, and acquisitions generally exceeding $300 million, built an integrated planning model for the Enbridge Income Fund, and wrote board-level memos on the commercial risks and rewards of investment opportunities.
Earlier in his career, Glenn was a Research Associate at a boutique broker dealer, where he maintained valuation models and authored research on publicly traded oil and gas, and infrastructure income trust companies; a Senior Energy & Regulatory Analyst at Stantec Consulting, where he managed a $500,000 regulatory project for the bottle depot industry; a Risk Management Specialist at Enron Inc., maintaining daily profit/loss and position models for natural gas and power trading books; and a Senior Financial & Regulatory Analyst at Optimum Energy Management and ESBI Alberta Ltd., advising clients on regulatory approvals and rate applications in the natural gas and power industries.
Glenn holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of Calgary.
